After being made redundant in 2015, Sarah decided on a complete change of career: she gained a diploma in Nutrition and Weight Management and qualified as a Gym Instructor before starting work at You Fit Gym in February 2017.
Having fought with her weight for many years, Sarah is aware of the courage it can take to step into a gym,
“Gyms can be very intimidating places for people. I like You Fit Gym because it really does welcome everyone, regardless of age, size or fitness level.”
Sarah gained her level 3 in Personal Training in 2019 and went on to become Manager of You Fit Gym when it relocated to the ground floor of the rugby club.
She still enjoys training but is the first to admit that Cardio is her least favourite exercise discipline and will avoid it whenever possible,
“You can lead me to a treadmill but you cannot make me run!”
